Hamba Nami

Songs of Solomon with Namhla Mbawuli

Hamba Nami means “walk with me.” The song begins under grey skies and follows a path towards golden light over Jozi, moving between English and isiZulu as it turns distance into companionship.

In the studio, we’re building it as South African pop with elements of amapiano used in an unusual, song-led way—less about familiar formulas and more about space, movement and a pulse that carries the story. Namhla Mbawuli’s Afro-soul, R&B and Afro-pop background brings warmth and emotional gravity to a collaboration about calling each other forward, one step at a time.

Target release: September 2026

Come to Your Senses

Songs of Solomon with CheraLee

Come to Your Senses is a pop-rock collaboration about two people who keep calling it over, crossing the line and somehow finding their way back.

CheraLee’s rock-rooted country-pop voice meets the reflective songwriting of Songs of Solomon in a conversation about chemistry, honesty and the courage to stop walking away. The production is taking shape around live-band energy, a cinematic edge and a chorus designed to feel like both a challenge and a confession.
